The owner, Charlie, has been in the restaurant business for over 38 years. Charley O's Restaurant was originally owned and operated out of Williams Bay, just west of Lake Geneva. From there, because of popular demand, he expanded the business into Wauwatosa and Lake Geneva.  His passion for food and dining excellence has taken him through many local hot spots through his years in the industry. He has worked with the Playboy Club, the Abbey, Stone Manor, Shore Club and the Hilton Hotel in Lake Geneva - just to name a few.

Charlie maintains such a high level of excellence because the restaurant business is what he loves. He has learned every level, inside and out, and enjoys teaching and mentoring others in the restaurant business. When asked what the best part of being in this business is, Charlie simply states: The best part is being blessed with such a beautiful community to serve in and such wonderful neighbors and great guests to serve. He enjoys great relationships with fellow restaurant owners because they all know what a tough business it is.

Charlie fooled around with retirement a few years back, but found his days too long and missed the interaction with the community and serving his original dishes that put smiles on the faces of his satisfied customers. Charley O's Restaurant in Elkhorn is his latest undertaking and he still has many employees that have been with him for more than 25 years.
